Carta al viajero
En la agencia de viajes VOC TURISMO estamos comprometidos con el desarrollo sostenible en el turismo y queremos invitarlo a aplicar los siguientes comportamientos responsables que como viajero debe tener presente:
PROTECCION AL MEDIO AMBIENTE Y PATRIMONIO NATURAL.
- Arroje las basuras en los recipientes dispuestos para tal fin. Si visita destinos de naturaleza donde no hay disponibilidad de canecas u otros recipientes, por favor guarden los residuos hasta encontrar un lugar adecuado.
- Donde sea posible, realice separación de residuos sólidos. Esto permitirá que los establecimientos reciclen, aprovechando residuos para otros usos.
- Realice uso adecuado del agua. Evite desperdiciar este valioso recurso.
- No contamine las fuentes de agua como cascadas, ríos, lagos y mares. Evite arrojar residuos sólidos o líquidos que afecten las fuentes hídricas.
- Si visita lugares que hagan parte del patrimonio natural, cumpla las normas establecidas por cada sitio. Evite dañar, alterar o afectar de algún modo los ecosistemas y paisajes.
PROTECCION DE FLORA Y FAUNA.
- No compre, retenga ni venda especies de flora y fauna silvestre. Esta comercialización es ilegal y es penalizada por la ley.
- ¡Nunca alimente animales silvestres! Suministrarles alimentos crea dependencia y alteraciones en el metabolismo, esto afecta su comportamiento natural y les genera problemas de salud.
- Contribuya con la conservación de los valores naturales y culturales al respetar los reglamentos y costumbres locales. Llévese sólo las fotografías y deje el sitio tal y como lo encontró.
PROTECCION AL PATRIMONIO CULTURAL.
- Si va a viajar, asegúrese que los recuerdos que trae del destino no son parte del patrimonio cultural del país: monumentos, elementos arqueológicos, ruinas, joyas, piedras u otros elementos que hagan parte de obras indígenas o prehistóricas.
- No destruya, remueva, ornamente ni cambie de lugar ningún bien que haga parte del patrimonio cultural del destino que visita.
- Si ve a alguien traficando con los bienes culturales, denúncielo antes las autoridades competentes.
- Respete la cultura de las comunidades que visita. Evite burlas y actuaciones que puedan ofender a las personas que viven en los destinos.
PROTECCION DE NIÑOS, NIÑAS Y ADOLECENTES.
- No busque, utilice o promueva prácticas de turismo sexual con menores de edad. Si usted es testigo de alguna situación donde se evidencie la explotación sexual de niños, niñas y adolescentes, denúncielo ante las autoridades competentes. Este es un delito penalizado por la ley.
ECONOMÍA.
- Fortalezca el comercio local: Coma en restaurantes locales, compre en mercados locales y asista a eventos locales. Compre productos manufacturados localmente a fin de reducir la contaminación relacionada con la importación de bienes. De esta manera el dinero que usted gasta permanece en la comunidad.
- Nunca compre artesanías, ropa, muebles u otros productos derivados de especies animales protegidas o en peligro de extinción. Puede exponerse a acciones judiciales si compra productos hechos a partir de especies en peligro de extinción.

Letter to traveler
In the travel agency TOURISM VOC S.A.S we are committed to sustainable development in tourism and we invite you to apply the following responsible behaviors as a traveler should keep in mind:
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND NATURAL HERITAGE.
- Throw garbage in containers ready for this purpose. If you visit nature destinations where there is no availability of bins or other containers, please keep waste to find a suitable place.
- Where possible, perform separation of solid waste. This will allow recycling facilities, using waste for other uses.
- Make proper use of water. Avoid wasting this valuable resource.
- Do not contaminate water sources such as waterfalls, rivers, lakes and seas. Avoid throwing solid or liquid waste affecting water sources.
- If you visit places that are part of the natural heritage, meets the standards set by each site. Avoid damage, alter or in any way affect ecosystems and landscapes.
WILDLIFE PROTECTION.
- Do not buy, hold or sell species of wild flora and fauna. This commercialization is illegal and is punishable by law.

PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND TEENS.

ECONOMY.
- Strengthen local commerce: Eat in local restaurants, shop in local markets and attend local events. Buy locally manufactured in order to reduce pollution related to the importation of goods products. In this way the money you spend stays in the community.
- Never buy crafts, clothing, furniture or other products derived from animals protected species or endangered. You may be exposed to legal action if you buy products made from endangered species.
